(KSL News) -- A woman who fled the polygamous lifestyle had a joyous reunion today with her children.

Laurice Jessop met her children in Colorado City, Arizona. Earlier this month her ex-husband, Nathan Burnham, went to West Jordan where the children lived with their mother. Even though she had custody, the ex-husband loaded the children up and took them away to Colorado City.

Laurice hadn't seen them since October 6th.

Laurice Jessop, Former Polygamist: "And now we just have to get them back up there to go to school and get 'em back into having a normal life and hope that it doesn't happen again."

Laurice Jessop vows to do whatever it takes to keep her children from the polygamous culture she fled.
